DXCC is awarded to amateurs who submit confirmations for contacts with 100 or more entities on the DXCC countries list. Since 1946 the number of DXCC countries has varied between 322 and 345. Currently, there are currently 340 entities on the list.
The DXCC standings list recognises those who have contacted 100 or more entities. The DXCC Honor Roll recognises those who are within 9 entities of the maximum possible number of entities. Excellence recognises those who have achieved contacts with all possible entities. Presence in the Honour Roll and Excellence categories reflects the number of DXCC entities that existed at the time of the award.
